The social and business areas you can have for your business are accessible through your business' listing area. Not only can you present menus, business services, additional videos and photos and other information for potential customers to see but you can also post daily specials, bulletins and start blogs, as well as post specials and events on your calendar!There are also a host of tools such as The Vdex alerts which can be sent to interested customers who have elected to be notified by you when your business has a sale or a special on certain products or services or when you have new products or services to offer. This feature makes it possible to launch an "on the fly" sales campaign - just determine the promotion and send the alerts! Just ask us for suggestions on how this tool could be used - it's really neat!
The social and business areas are very easy to use and are completely controlled by the business owner through a user friendly admin area. This means you can offer any of the available services only when you desire and there help buttons located at each function with easy to follow instructions.
These features are available only through the interactive social and business areas which we provide to listers for a fee of $25 per month or a full year's prepaid subscription for $250.
You can also set up a personal merchant platform where customers can actually purchase goods and services from your business 24 hours a day. Please contact customer service to be connected to someone who can assist you with this process.
Some of these features include:
1) About Us area - An area with information supplied by the business describing the business, and optionally depicting images/photos of the business/products.
2) Primary Info - A display which features the business' telephone number and other contact information.
3) Map - A display which features a Map of the business' location.
4) Subscribe - An area where a user may subscribe to the business' email bulletins and/or newsletters.
5) Contact Us - An area where the user can complete a form that will send their inquiry to the business for response.
6) Rate Us! Function - This allows business patrons to rate each business via a 1-5 star rating, and their own comments. A business can review such ratings and can control whether it will be displayed.
7) Menu (for restaurants)/Business Services - this area can be used by restaurants to post their menu and other business types can use it to list out all the services they provide to their clients.
8) Social Network Entrance - This will take the user to the business' Social Network page where they can access the business' blog, calendar, and message board among many, many other features (music options, video options, image options, etc).

This area is very comprehensive yet easy to use. The business owner/lister has full control of all of the features listed, and many that aren't, through the business owner admin area.
